When we (Tony & Brad) launched our SEO Rich Snippets App & Tag Rocket within BigCommerce, we made the decision to donate 10% of revenue from both Apps to worthy causes. Recently, we have added our new app, Page Lightning.

We’ve partnered with Child’s Dream Foundation & Maxton Strong School. We’re proud of the great projects we have been able to fund over the last few years, and the impact these projects will have on students into the future.

Why These Organisations?

 

    • We have a long (15+ years) and rewarding history with both of these organisations.

    • Brad has seen first-hand their projects in India, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand in a personal adventure of his and was very blown away by their professionalism, impact and efficacy

    • We have received fantastic reporting & feedback from past commercial and personal donations. We have upmost confidence the proceeds will be well-invested in life-changing and sustainable improvements to those who need it most

Cambodia, 3 Year High School Student Scholarship #2

Funding provided for full scholarship support covering all education related costs, as well as costs for living and transportation in the student’s three years of upper secondary study.

Child’s Dream Foundation:

The High School Scholarship Programme provides middle school students from rural and marginalised communities with the opportunity to continue education at a higher level. With the aim of improving continuation rates of students between lower and upper secondary levels. Financial support helps students continue and complete their upper secondary education while programme trainings and activities provide essential life skills and practices to help them navigate the road ahead. It is a strategic intervention that not only improves access to quality education but also guides beneficiaries towards greater opportunity and a higher quality of living.

India, School Computer Lab #3

Maxton Strong School

Funding provided to upgrade computer lab equipment, with 25 Desktop computers, 1 projector, keyboards/mice.

I wanted to share how grateful I am for the previous support and your continued generosity for STEM development projects in our school. Seriously guys, this is amazing and will make such an impact! The computers that we previously purchased are already getting a good workout – and, given that it is set for a high of 32 degrees today and we are not even into summer, the air con units will be an incredible benefit!

Laos, School Computer Lab #2

Child’s Dream Foundation – Xaignabouli Buddhist Secondary School

Funding provided to renovate an existing school room into a fully furnished computer lab, with 19 computer sets, 19 UPS, a projector, and other essential equipment.

The 153 novice monks from 21 temples now have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with computer equipment and acquire essential ICT skills at a newly renovated computer lab. 33 teachers also benefit from the project, gaining the skills needed to deliver the computer programme effectively and manage the ICT equipment. This improved capacity contributes to raising the overall quality of education in the community.

Cambodia, Computer Lab #1

Child’s Dream Foundation – Anlongvil High School

Funding provided for a fully-equipped computer laboratory with 31 computers, 1 printer, 1 LCD projector, 2 air conditioning units and furniture.

The over 2000 students now have an opportunity to become familiar with computer equipment and learn the essential ICT skills for continuing education and seeking out quality employment. The 100 plus Teachers are now better prepared to facilitate the computer programme while also taking care of the ICT equipment.

In April 2024, Tony had the privilege of seeing our donations become reality, by being an honorary guest at the official opening of this computer classroom.
