Google rewards website owners who add extra, invisible code to their web pages called “Structured Data” that makes it easier for Google to understand what the page is about. These rewards mostly come in the form of “Rich Snippets” which are visual cues on the Google Search Result Page (SERP) that add extra information about the page.
